I now interrupt

..my random babble about our honeymoon, because I have something else to talk about.

Houses. And moving. And holy shit, I think we are going to move. And it is only 45 minutes away, but it might as well be a world away.

I have lived in this same area since I was nine, minus some time in Austin and Dallas. Basically that equals seventeen years of living within three miles of my current house. I shop at the same grocery store my mom did. I go to the convenience store and the owner talks about when I was little and rode my bike there. I don't get IDed at the bank, because everyone knows me. I can't go to the gas station without seeing my old neighbor, or my old high school teacher, or my best friend. This little bubble, "The Bubble," has been my bubble for years. And now, we want out.

We have lots of reasons. Schools. Better neighborhood. The lake. Hills. Trees. But mostly, we just want to. And I do. I really do. But I am also terrified.

But I better get over it quick, because we faxed the offer over this morning.

Yikes! That is a big decision coming hot off the heels of your wedding!!! But I'm sure whatever you guys decide, things will all work out for the best :)

We actually have been looking for months! We found a home a week before the wedding, but could not do anything about it due to the wedding/honeymoon. It sold while we were on our honeymoon!

IS THIS WHAT I THINK IT MEANS!?!?!?!? That you and Kenny will be around the corner when we come to visit....and that our girls can play together....and we can lay out together....and so many other SUPER FUN THINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Confirmation please.....

Allison, let me give you a hint. Come in the gate, take the first left, then the first right. At the end of the road take a right. Go all the way to the end of the street and you will practically run into the driveway. What does that all mean? It means we will be closer to the yatch club pool, so I will prefer to lay out there.

If our offer gets accepted we plan to move in December (yay for paying two house notes!). Hopefully, you will make a trip home around Christmas time, and get to come see our new home!!

Dude, are you going to sell the house you are in now? How is the market there?

Does the new house has a bomb ass backyard like the one have now?

Talk to me.

Honestly we are not really worried about selling our house. (Do you know that besides having a landscaping company, Kenny is also a real estate broker?) We completely remodeled our house when we moved in. Everything except the roof is new in 06, including AC, furnance, etc. The housing values did not really fall here. We also bought it at a low price. Plus, we are counting on it not selling for a few months.

The new backyard is not awesomeness....yet. But it is HUGE!

Oh...we are also NOT getting a pool this time around. It was awesome at first. I am not even joking when I say that I have not gotten in it in two years. The kids swim maybe once every two weeks. I will however miss the outdoor kitchen. I use that all the time. I am pretty sure we will put in another outdoor kitchen.

Wow, that's awesome. You've got all kinds of new stuff going on. I can't wait to see pictures of the new place, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
