If you get more than killed.

Last week, there was an accident involving two fire trucks. One person witnessing the wreck had this to say,

"It was such a loud bang that I thought someone must have gotten killed or more than (that). It was a huge bang. I'm amazed that they're OK. I really am," she said.

Um. How do you get more than killed? What exactly happens when you are more than killed? I am so confused.

And, obviously, I hope everyone injured recovers fully. Thank goodness no one was more than killed.

I am just glad my favorite coffee house did not get creamed in that wreck. It is right at that intersection. Oh, and I am glad no one was killed, too...

lol...hmmm, I imagine thr person who said that is highly educated. I really feel for the injured people but my heart also goes out to the firefighter driving the firetruck...gosh, he was a month from retirement...and he could lose his whole pension he's worked 30+ years for...not to say he should have ran the redlight, it's just I know how hard these guys work and how hard they're criticized for everything they do...=(

Seriously, they were racing to what they thought was a fire. It was like he was driving drunk, he made a mistake. Accidents are just that accidents. If that man loses his pension over that I think people should protest.

Uh. I meant to say "it wasn't like he was drunk." Oops.

Exactly...an accident. Sad thing is...it was a false alarm. There wasnt a fire at all in the apartment complex they were heading to. I told my husband he better freaking stop and wait until the light turns green from now on when he's driving the firetruck because I will be pissed off if he loses his pension. lol The lady in the car is going to be lawsuit happy. She's already parading her story around the newspapers.

The lady in the car was the genius with the quote I posted.
