For my birthday, I got strep throat. Awesome. Kids dropped off with my parents for the weekend, and I start to feel horrible. Fever. Sore throat complete with white patches. Horrible headache. Did I mention awesome?
Don't worry, I let the antibiotics do their thing, and managed to do some celebrating.
And car shopping.
And present getting. And because my husband is way more awesome than strep throat, he got me this 
Although not so much that, as a confirmation number for that, as it doesn't come out until next week.

So sorry to hear about the strep, Tricia. I'd imagined you having more fun. When you're a mom, though, sometimes it's a great luxury to be allowed be sick when you're sick, so I hope you at least had that.

Happy Birthday! Yah on the ipad! Let us know how you like it. I was thinking it could be really cool for Emma (for aug. com. since the screen is much larger than the iTouch) and would love to hear your review. We have so many mac stuff around the house, though, we might be waiting for the 2nd gen of the iPad to jump in for another one.
I was tempted to wait until the 3G version came out, but then I decided I didn't want to pay for the monthly fee! Plus, all of the places I would really use it have wifi. Also...I just have no patience, and I wanted it NOW!

It's driving me crazy that I can't have it right this minute! Hurry up April 3rd.
I had pink eye and the flu the night of high school graduation and everyone went out partying and I went home to sleep.
